The best onion rings I ever had and the hamburger is nothing to sneeze at. Net time I come will deffently sit the burger with my wife. Great place and the crew really cares if you are happy. Great call Bob at the sky 97.3. No photos I couldn't wait to eat. Sorry.
1st time at the monkey and it won't be the last,little bit of a drive but was worth it. Very good food had fish and chicken both yummy. Will get pics next time
The food is really good, especially for a small town eatery. All prices were reasonable including drink prices. Nice staff. The atmosphere is casual and comfortable.
Good bar food establishment. Better than Beefs. Good drink specials and the burgers are good. Plenty of TV's to catch the games. This is a good place for either sitting at the bar and getting drinks or bringing the family. It's split into two sections. No smoking so it doesn't smell like an ash tray. Burgers and wraps are very good.
Love the burgers. Usually order the veggie "skewer"... grilled squash and onions. I order them Extra Well Done. When they get it right, they are awesome. But it's Russian roulette with these people. Even with specific instructions for extra well done, the cook (maybe it's really a copper monkey back there) cooks them a little bit and flops them on a plate. Crisp-tender at best. Send them back and they return with them three minutes later like they miraculously cooked in that little time. This isn't the first time it's happened...even discussed it with the manager... always the same excuse...new cook in the kitchen or the normal guy isn't here tonight. First time doing a review...just tired of the same ol excuses. Maybe they should change to a different kind of monkey.
