To summarize, you can spend your money somewhere else. Hope management read the review and change something about it.
The food is boring!. The place has a nice decor and the waiters are great. The food is overpriced and they don't used the best quality ingredients for the price they charge. We like to go to different restaurants and try different types of food, so my review is based on similar restaurants.
Example. Fried calamari was good, but again anything else to pair it with, not sauce or dipping to change flavors every few of them.
A surprisingly good place in the middle of suburbia. The decor is a bit cheesy and the iPad menus don’t really give any reassurance but they actually have a decent wine list and the food is generally flavorful and delicious when it comes out. Maybe the menu is not the most coherent and the pork chop was cooked too long but overall I have to say I would not mind coming back if I am ever in Gainesville again.
Everything was very good!! I had the fried octopus. My wife had the scallops. Everything was cooked perfectly. Call for reservations because open table said they were booked up, but they were not.
Server Cecile was excellent. Cocktails on point. Food well made. Will return.
For example. The short-rib was greasy and didn't have any presentation or different textures and flavors to pair with, only one side. After a few bites you get bored of the same food and flavor, not to mention the $30 price for something you can cook in a slow cooker easily.
Made a reservation. When we got there, our reservation was not on record. There was seven in our party. Beautiful eating area decor. Everyone enjoyed their food. Lots of interesting items. Pricey small portions. Wait staff was excellent. Check came immediately when we were finished. One guest was a little annoyed by that, but I liked that quick response. One of our guests was terribly upset that a 20% gratuity was automatically added to the check. For an upscale place, the woman's restroom was deplorable. The handicapped stall was out of order, the working stall wall was a mass of dust webs, the soap dispenser did not work. The wash area had a nice sink that was covered in mineral deposits. Nasty and shame on Sabore for the filthy restroom.
No poultry! On the menu. We find out there was poultry, because we heard another waiter say it to his patrons. ; (
